Lindsay Wilford was educated at Loughborough Grammar School and Sheffield University and qualified as a solicitor in 1977. He became a partner in the firm shortly thereafter and has remained a partner, and latterly, a director, in the firm through its many stages of growth since that time.
He has a wide range of experience in real property transactions of all kinds, including Options, Conditional Contracts, Promotion and Collaboration Agreements, Affordable Housing Development Agreements and funding security documentation. He deals with large property transactions and disposals, particularly of residential development sites and site assemblies.
He also has a wide experience in Landlord and Tenant, Town and Country Planning, and the sale and purchase of company share capital and business assets. He regularly advises private and public companies, both on and off-shore.
Recent transactions include:
- Purchase of 200,000 sq. ft. warehouse for £5.7M pounds (reputedly the largest single building in Loughborough) in which contracts were exchanged within 7 days of receiving instructions
- the sale of 18 acre Airfield Farm Business Park in Market Harborough to Leicestershire County Council for further commercial development
- the sale of approximately 11 acres of fully serviced residential land in Droitwich to Miller Homes
